My electrician drilled 8 -3/4" of holes in the top rib of an I joist. Holes span ~20". Will this work for repair?
i-Joist Flange Reinforcer Repair Kit
Electrician drilled a series of 8 3/4" holes to run wires to my garage area. They went through the top rib of an 11 7/8 I joist with a 2 1/2 inch flange. The holes are all on one side of the joist. I will need an engineered, stamped repair solution to pass framing inspection. I have a photo of the damage that I can share.

Yes, it's very likely that our i-Joist Flange Reinforcer can repair this and that it can be stamped by one of our licensed engineering parts that is licensed in your state. Please send a photo to dan@joistrepair.com and we can take a closer look.
